While a green economy will not be focused on money in the way the capitalist economy is, we will none the less need money to facilitate exchanges. The pages that are linked from this page deal with establishing our own local currencies, and community banks, as well as using existing money to support the local economy via the creation of local bonds and by using credit unions.
